Some more of my photographs of Manchester. These are from a set of (slightly brown) 35mm. Apologies to those with slower connections, they will take a while to load.

wow... theres some amazingly modern architecture admidst the old-world stuff. i particularly love that second photo.

im imaginging living in an old fish market. cool. good case of urban renewal.

Thanks Peter.

It's a nice mix up of old and new. Manchester has many examples of facadism, which I will hopefully find and photograph. Glasgow has similar building projects going on as well. Many of the entirely new apartments that are built here seem to adhere to one style of architecture, although they are not that bad to look at they're lacking in character.

myke: i appreciate what youre sharing here... remember, as a new yorker whos never been across the atlantic, ive no way to know anything about such cities save for what people like you show and tell me. as always, id love to see more photos- even of the mundane!

My Lion Has Got No Nose

Take a close look at the lion on the right. He is missing his nose. Poor bugger. These lions are attached to this building (the filthy windows mar the view a bit): I was on the 13th floor of a building on...
