Here are some more pictures from my recent trip to Manchester. All these photos except the first are from the Salford Quays area again - this seemed to be when I had the most time for photography!
The glass building on the left with the reflection of the big wheel is 'URBIS' - a wonderful museum of urban life.
Wide shot across the water of the Imperial War Museum North.
A wider shot of The Lowry building - described in yesterday's post as looking like it's made of "duct tape and cardboard" by Jamie! Photo taken from the high point of the War Museum in which there is a viewing platform.
The 'Detroit Bridge' over the water towards the Imperial War Museum.
A wonderful coppery looking office building at the water edge near The Lowry.

if and when i go to wales, i'm going in the summertime. also: i always thought the main aim of driving on the m62 was to not die. the music is secondary.

i like wales in june, how about you. i like the detroit bridge, how about you? manchester really rocks, cant get my fill and the urbis, oh yes the urbis gives me a thrill.
