First Snow

Looking west on my roof, over , now obscured by the cloud cover...

Looking south, down the street towards the , which is also obscured by the weather.

Inspired by others' posts, I wanted to post my own... sorry for the lo-fi shots, but +=lo-fi.

We're supposed to get a rather large snowstorm sometime between this evening and tomorrow afternoon, so I'll post more as it develops...

i do not miss the days of drinkin at a bar and going outside to find out the ground is covered in snow and having to drive back to new jersey

these pictures capture the snowy nyc vibe for me

heh! thats why we have teh , though i guess you cant really leave your car in the city... but driving... to jersey... while tipsy... in a snowstorm sounds like the worst combo ever!

peter, I'll be sending you some old Brooklyn images from the 50s.
but have to find a way to scan them. And by the way, I just finished a painting on n.y.c., achrylic on canvas 120 x 105 mm and named it CITY NOISE, dedicated to you, JAMIE, Elaine and the rest...
