Northern Boulevard in Astoria is rife with car dealerships. These are a couple of interesting shots that Mitch Waxman, my beloved, took while out for a stroll in the 'hood.
You could get all political with this one. But it isn't America repressing the Earth, it's merely a dealership patriotically keeping the 34th street 4ever gang from stealing cars.
The Empire State Building lurks in the background. The Chrysler is trying to get in the picture too.

I should be just Waxman, but I couldn't bring myself to lose the Penfold, mostly because of Dangermouse. He gets quite miffed if he is 'Penfolded.' He's from Brooklyn (as if that explains everything).

hehehehe. we have a pet dwarf hamster named "penfold" in homage to dangermouse's sidekick!
