beats being tied to the front of a con-ed/garbage/delivery/fresh-direct/cargo truck, heh! ever see that? its like every other delivery/work truck has a stuffed animal, doll or mask on its front. its weird.

also: i really like that youre representing on here, as we havent had much content from that borough. word!

elaine: 4th Nov 2005 - 16:25 GMT

i quite like seeing teddies on a garbage truck, it makes up a bit for the pong
hey, peter, how about some pics?

Peter: 4th Nov 2005 - 16:27 GMT

ill see what i can do. its hard to get good shots of moving quarry with the cameraphone, but theyre numerous enough- as are stop-lights, so maybe ill get lucky one of these days, heh.

Yeah, I've been posting some Astoria, Queens stuff as New York (which it is) but I'll be more distinct in the future. Astoria Rocks!
And if that Teddy is still there when I get home, I'll take it, (wash it) hug it and call it George (or Jesus).

Kon: How sad.

Jamie: 5th Nov 2005 - 13:51 GMT

Syncronicity! I bought that exact same carrier bag for my kids this halloween and filled it full of sweets and toys. Bleeding chewy skulls looked nice, though i didn't try one.

elaine: 4th Jan 2006 - 16:48 GMT

see, this is why i like buddha. do you want to spend your time with jesus, suffering away on the cross all bleeding and miserable or with buddha, covered in gold, sitting happily with at least a smirk on his face, and sometimes actively laughing?

humbled hamiltonian: 7th Feb 2006 - 21:34 GMT

Hebrews 12 :2 says, "it was for joy that Christ endured the cross..." He is the only one who defeated the dilemma of death. I choose Christ over buddha anyday. Nice picture hool. Alms for the poor....

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 7th Feb 2006 - 21:56 GMT

you think I'm Hool? I am soooo flattered. Hey everyone, guys, look! This person thinks I took a picture so well he thinks I'm Hool. I'm so happy. I'm smiling like buddha.

my daughter has a little stuffed animal that she loves so much...cant sleep without it. The other day we lost it for 24 hours...good thing nobody scooped him and did that to him.

zagg: 18th Oct 2006 - 01:47 GMT

teddy bears nailed to the cross... i mean uh, across town - now THAT is what I call street art!
