GGP: 25th Oct 2005 - 18:01 GMT

yeah, the word "apocalyptic" comes to mind, but then C-Town always has a whiff of doom about it.

Peter: 25th Oct 2005 - 18:33 GMT

ahh the "whiff of doom"! its all that god-forsaken smoked whitefish they have piled everywhere. YUCK.

ick! and double-ick for the black mop!! the floor is kind of cool, however, now that I ponder it.

Peter: 25th Oct 2005 - 19:59 GMT

yeah, i always liked how the tiles run diagonally down the aisle, like diamonds, as opposed to squares, running parallel to the shelving.

im not exactly sure why, but im a fan of this c-town. it has character, despite its disgustingness and bad produce.

check out:

and

which shows the aisles back in their better-stocked days of summer.

ian: 26th Oct 2005 - 00:15 GMT

The produce can't be nearly as bad as Disco Krogers.

Peter: lol, ian, whats that?

Peter: 26th Oct 2005 - 16:02 GMT

got restocked last night! Check it out:

Oh the all so famous C-Town.
I grew up on Newkirk ... I was the only white child in the building we lived in.
I have countless memories of C-Town, it was always an experience shopping there.
