Jamie: 19th Oct 2005 - 19:14 GMTI like your photos a lot, escpecially the patriotic construction guy. I think it'd be great if you shared more of your work on here. I for one apprectiate your eye. Peter: 19th Oct 2005 - 23:18 GMTsince everything that can possibly be said about katrina has already been said in the past weeks, ill bypass that and say that these photos are sweeeeeeeet! i used to have family there, and would drive there from tennessee every year, around st. patrick's day, stay in the monteleone and peep all the street musicians there, eat tons of muffalettas/oyster poboys/bignets and chickory coffee. these photos made me remember some particularly poignant memories of those visits, which i hadnt thought about it ages. so thanks! and also: welcoem to citynoise! im sure i speak for us all when i say im really glad you decided to post these :) id love to see more. jeeff: 20th Oct 2005 - 00:08 GMTit's too easy for us to see the people of new orleans as just victims. it's good to remind everyone that they're people with normal lives too. i wish we had someone posting photos from kashmir for the same reason.
