elaine, if you ever go out to dinner with peter watch out for the hot sauce. it's a killer. remember it's hot going in and it's hotter coming out.

sally: your forks are so weird.

That is a weird fork... very square

elaine: 19th Oct 2005 - 07:25 GMT

personally i favour what is generically called 'brown sauce' on my breakfast, but in fact, of course, there are two brands, 'daddies' and 'HP' (houses of parilament). these are good tangy sauces. in scotland there is also 'chippy' sauce' which is brown sauce diluted with vinegar, and decanted into a lemonade bottle. this is essential if your supper is just chips, but goes with everything in the chippy, including the deep fried pizza. scotland has very high heart disease statistics

lol, hal. i *am* a southerner, by birth. tennessee. go figure. you grow up eating so much trappey's on grits (i,e: every morning of your life, from when you teethe til you escape and move up north like i did) that you become immune to that, such that it doesnt burn as bad as jack would have you believe.

now i cook grits for me an my southerner wife whenever we feel like a taste of home. but she eats tabasco on her grits.

infidel.

Peter: 19th Oct 2005 - 23:20 GMT
