Riverside Gantry New York, NY - Peter - Tuesday, January 6th, 2009 : goo  One of the preserved gantry cranes that remain off the banks of the Hudson River on Manhattan's west side, bordering Riverside Park.

 This is one of the first, sun-drenched sights that I saw after exiting the Freedom Tunnel with CartLegger. It was freezing cold, for sure, but a beautiful way to ring in the new year.

You bet find one of the coolest places in NY it reminds me crashed plaxes of industrial or urbanic in Ukraine, Kiev and DOnetsk. Very cool Commenting is temporarily disabled whilst the site undergoes essential maintenance. |
