This van has the word Thunderbolt painted across its front, as well as some fascinating artwork etched into its side windows. This van is always parked down the street from where I live. Sometimes I see it drive by. It is in desperate need of a new muffler.

jamie: dude. that is sweeeet

Peter: 28th Sep 2005 - 16:58 GMT

the skeleton in the first photo looks more playful/happy than creepy/tough/scary if you ask me. the second one is just... weird. it doesnt show well in the photo but theres a castle with a full moon and some bats in the upper left hand side behind the second guy, the ape-faced skeleton with the strange bird-beak scepter.

jamie: like an excitable puppydog

jamie: 28th Sep 2005 - 17:01 GMT

and the second guy? why, he's just heading home for his tea

ha: 28th Sep 2005 - 17:04 GMT

its funny because people with that much free time to etch insane skeletons probably dont use their time to earn money thus equaling noisey muffler

Peter: 28th Sep 2005 - 17:05 GMT

i keep wondering how the second guy keeps from losing his ample head of hair... one would think it would have trouble sticking to a bare cranium and all. The jaunty hat on the first fellow says FACE on it for some reason. it makes me think of the a-team.

Peter: 28th Sep 2005 - 17:13 GMT

the van's driver resembles a very overweight barry white. i have often seen him driving around the neighborhood in this van, in a three-sizes-too-small tattered t-shirt, sipping from a 22 oz. can of budweiser.

joey: 29th Sep 2005 - 03:07 GMT

you know, on the west coast we would assume this van was a memorial to the grateful dead. probably not so in brooklyn. maybe you can post a photo of the driver as well.

joey: -i'm back
