This is one of the last remaining cannery walkways. used unsharp mask on this but still think it is overexposed, can anyone help me to fix that? This article has been viewed 2246 times in the last 3 years ian: 21st Sep 2005 - 05:58 GMTActually, I've been here, with my dad, in 2000. We took a week to drive from San Francisco to LA down Highway 1. Not especially Monterrey -- but the area around it and Big Sur -- left powerful memories. jeeff: 21st Sep 2005 - 14:52 GMTemail me at jeff(at)modernhistory(dot)org if you want to talk about some more image editing techniques. joey: 22nd Sep 2005 - 01:32 GMTa few blocks up the hill from this spot is where the book cannery row played out. my daughters and i used to vacation here every sping and i would read the book each time. sometimes i felt as if i would see old Doc among the weeds on the empty lot. next time you're in monterey drive out the the lighthouse and wait for sunset. good spot for photography. steelisreal: 22nd Sep 2005 - 02:13 GMTi live in monterey.... like 2 blocks from where this photo was taken Commenting is temporarily disabled whilst the site undergoes essential maintenance.
