This is a nice fountain sculpture near the beach. If it is blurry I am sorry, this was taken at 8mp and sizing it down to 600 pixels really really takes the detail out. Still working on how to sharpen my photos with software. If you got suggestions let me know. This article has been viewed 2622 times in the last 3 years jeeff: 21st Sep 2005 - 04:21 GMTi know what you mean, although it doesn't look blurry to those of us who haven't seen the high-res original. if it really bothers you, try playing with photoshop's "unsharp mask" filter. it works much better than the other sharpen filters. steelisreal: 21st Sep 2005 - 04:29 GMTthing is i cant afford photoshop so i am using arcsuite. i dont even know anyone with a "copy" to umm lend me :( jeeff: 21st Sep 2005 - 04:40 GMTthat's your problem then. it's surprising how much difference there is in simple image quality from one imaging suite to the next. you could always try the gimp, originally for linux but now ported to windows. a lot of people say it's just about as good as photoshop, though i don't agree. still, you may have better luck with that than other applications. and it's free.
