shipton st E2. i ventured out of an evening - or was dragged out - to an art opening. i find evenings and groups and standing up all difficult, but it was local, and i am trying to challenge myself a little. i stood and looked at the work for a bit and met some people, and got tired and grizzly pretty fast, my back starting to complain. there was a merciful unpopulated sofa, so my friend suggested we sit for a while. zoning out a bit i started staring at the arrangements the legs were making from this eye view

artist, art patron, or poser? we can tell who you are - your shoes, and perhaps legs - will give you away.

my guess- the foot with the painted red toe nails, sandal and toe ring?, is the artist.

well, i don't drink these days so that motivation is gone for me. i agreed to go because it was nearby, my frriend wanted to go, and i hadn't left the house that day, but once i was there, of course, i pretty much wanted to leave. but for the sofa i would have

i cant believe no one else has commented on how cool that old wooden floor looks. i wish i had a floor like that in my house.

sine had an open studio/showing this past weekend. her studio's floors are cement and painted cool grey.

beyond that, i tend to agree with hool's take on openings.
