theres an escalator like that at the WTC PATH stop... it has a sign that originally said "this escalator will be back in service on 5/1/05"... the "5" has been crossed out, sequentially, every month and as of this morning, reads "10/1/05".
needless to say, the escalator still isnt running. it will probably take over a year to fix it. yay nyc.
