This article has been viewed 2826 times in the last 3 years Peter: 9th Sep 2005 - 14:24 GMTtheres an escalator like that at the WTC PATH stop... it has a sign that originally said "this escalator will be back in service on 5/1/05"... the "5" has been crossed out, sequentially, every month and as of this morning, reads "10/1/05". needless to say, the escalator still isnt running. it will probably take over a year to fix it. yay nyc. vz: 9th Sep 2005 - 14:51 GMTheh.. i guess here they made sure they wouldn't have to go back and cross it out again for a very, very long time.
