[previous] :: [next]It was one of those nights. My friend didn't call. I decided to go to the game anyway. But it had started a half hour earlier than I thought. I got back on the train, which wasn't so bad--it's a nice, air-conditioned place to read. I got off at my stop and saw the 16 identical buildings in a row. I'd noticed the other day how over time the decorative cement urns out front had apparently begun to change. Probably there's a lot of history contained in these subtle variations. Each of these is one of a matched pair. I started taking photos in the dark with the flash. The battery ran out. I went back in and got the dog. I finished the job. I resized them all and uploaded them all and now, who knows why, I feel better.
