his mother is doing the right thing. guys in prison start preparing for going there at the ages of 11, 12 or 13. she is right on. parents can make or break a child. the boy in the photo will probably never steal again, hopefully.

I agree. And he's lucky he has someone who cares enough about him to try to keep that from happening. Unfortunately, that's hard to find these days.

I congratulate this mother. It reminds me of when I was young. I had a mother and a father in my home (not saying mother and father do not exit in this home) but it was my mother for the most paths that instilled discipline. My mother had five boys and she was no joke. She was never afraid to turn on the trills. You would be surprise of the power of a mother in disciplining a boy. He will accept the correction without much rebelling. All black parents have to understand the hash environment with which their boys live, and be there for them to guide them through. The media is not helping. They are giving them, our black boys sport characters as role modules, lifestyle for which if they follow will send them to prison. Thanks mother you are example for which other should follow.

I commend this woman for taking control of the situation in order to better guide her child to a promising future!!!!!

I really like the look on the mother's face. She seems so satisfied with her discipline but also looks like she's just doing what needs to be done.

valeria cecile: thats really funny
