NYC is so much more than simply dog-eat-dog; it's also sparrow-eat-rib.
Here, on Washington Avenue in Brooklyn, a sparrow tackles a morsel bigger than it is. I wish I had video of this, because the sparrow was REALLY moving this bone around!!

heh. makes me think of this entry...
i see this happen all the time... i guess people toss alot of bones out in the street from the chinese takeout chicken places, eh GGP? its especialyl funny when i see burds gnawing on chicken bones... seems a bit canibalistic, don't you think?
