Can't get enough of that old school graffiti... This article has been viewed 10193 times in the last 4 years Peter: 9th Dec 2005 - 04:32 GMTwow, i missed this the first time around... if dr. revolt indeed posted these, then bow down everyone, we are in the midst of an oldskool master! SCAM28: 4th Apr 2006 - 11:10 GMTAh nice stuff...the good old stuff, when bombing was simple... JOEY TPA - THE PUBLIC ANIMALS: 2nd Nov 2007 - 17:27 GMTHere's a tidbit...even Danny missed it...THE EL-5 tag inside the "CA" That is ROTO, the original leader and head of NCB, (No Comp Boys) brother of SNAC, NCB. *wink* JOEY - THE TPA ORIGINALS. JOEY TPA - THE PUBLIC ANIMALS: 11th Nov 2007 - 17:09 GMTNext to the Crime piece is a nice bit of nostalgia...the "TI-149" two-letter thro-up...aka MOVIN', TC, a BMT killah! TMB'S: 5th Dec 2007 - 02:51 GMTTHE DC-10 TAG NEXT TO THE CA(CAPTAIN AMERICA) DC-10 ALSO WROTE ROBERT 1, HE WROTE WITH SO-ONE AND SI-ONE, TEAR-2,UNCLE JOHN 178 QUEENS 1974 Pros One..1980: 15th Dec 2007 - 02:30 GMTI never met "CA" aka Captain America, But I know he was from Queens. I hear he died. I think his name was Peter Seneca. I was a young dude when "CA" was doing his thing. His tag was up everywhere. Hime Bobby 85, Shiek, tage 1. They had the unique school style. Anybody know the truth about "CA" JOEY TPA CREW: 20th Dec 2007 - 07:28 GMTQueens is right, and good catch on the "DC-10" tag. The Captain disappeared, Tage is no longer with us, Duck 77 is still around, works in a moving company, still living in Woodside, UJ-178....off to another land, Tear..same thing. Bobby 85 also gone from this world. Glad to see Queens catching it's dues.....actually had more kings out of Queens than the Bronx, but thanks to a couple of books in the 80's, Queens was way underrepresented and the Bronx got the press. Set the "bible" straight. Just a few to mention from Queens that took over...Vinny, IZ, DEAN (THe Bad Yard Boys), Jester (The Crew), EX~1, JOEY (The Public Animals), DUKE-9, PI-2 (CIPPY), EDDIE 108, PRO-PAL, SON ONE, CONAN, LADY PINK, LADY HEART, MISS MAGGS, SKY-2, KB (The Super Squad), VADE, EZO, SPICER, FDT-56, K56, 2MAD (Crazy Young Artists CYA), LIL' SOUL, MINGO, SIKE, NEON, VE, KR TSS, DON-1 MAFIA CREW....and the list goes on and on and on....I haven't even touch Brooklyn...also unrepresented in those "bibles" of graffiti. All due props to the Bronx, but the BEE-QUE (Brooklyn Queens) population was greater in numbers and in Kings. BILROCK-161, RTW.: 31st Dec 2007 - 21:27 GMTAwesome old skool!!. My man REVOLT with the shotz. Cool JOEY,TPA. for pointing out the TAKI-149 throw-up circa 1974/75. TAKI-149 one of the great old skool Kings of the 1 train, and a brother Soul Artist member. CRIME(aka.AZTEC) was another major player on the 1 train back in 1975-77, GO-Club allies!!!. FDT56 SALSA!: 2nd Jan 2008 - 20:14 GMTIT IS ALWAYS GREAT TO SEE ONE OF MY OLD PARTNERS, I AM TALKING ABOUT THE GREAT KROME 100. HE WAS WAY BEFORE HIS TIME. JUST WANT TO GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO MY BOY JOEY TPA. 56 BOYS BILROCK-161, RTW.: 5th Jan 2008 - 17:37 GMTKROME 100, SALSA!!, awesome writer back in the day with the legendary 56 Boys!. Glad you're well and I'm amazed to even see you on here. hehehehe. Miracles do happen! The Public Animals forever! SAR TMB: 16th Jun 2009 - 14:05 GMTDC-10 also wrote ROBERT, he was from Richmond Hill. He wrote with SO-ONE and SI-ONE. There were a lot of writers on the J and A lines from the mid 70's that people don't remember. DAM-ONE, COLT, KEEP 112, COOK, ROCKY-ONE, SIKE and ST-3. I remember top to bottom VINNY pieces on all the garbage trucks back then also. FLIP, FIT, DIME 139, MOP, SCOPE aka FADE, SIKO who wrote BT-2 and TEK-2, his old partner was RUST, then KIK. A lot of the IRTS have been documented from teh earliest of times. The TB-TOP-NCB-TMB-TC crews dominated the BMTs. Wish more photos were documented from that time. TRIP 2: 29th Jun 2009 - 18:10 GMTI grew up with VINNY, SHORTY 13 and DUSTER, those were the days, Ozone Park was our home turf. My "career" as TRIP 2 was very brief but i was friends with these guys for many years.I know DUSTER (Larry) died from aids back in the late 80s SHORTY (kevin) was in prison the last time i heard of him and VINNY was homeless, roming the streets of Ozone Park. TRIP2: 30th Jun 2009 - 17:19 GMTI was close friends with VINNY, SHORTY13 AND DUSTER. Those were good times back in the old neighborhood. We spent alot of time hanging out on the corner of Liberty Ave and 97 Street in Ozone park. Anybody out there from those days lets talk... SAR TMB: 8th Jul 2009 - 04:34 GMTVINNY IS OK, LIVING WITH HIS SISTER, IZ THE WIZ JUST PASSED AWAY. DUSTER-LARRY AKA LARS FROM MARS, IS GONE FOR A LONG TIME. UNCLE JOHN 178 JUST GOT OUT OF PRISON, THERE WERE RUMORS THAT HE WAS DEAD. DUKE9 IS STILL AROUND FROM BACK THEN DIME 139 IS IN FLORIDA. BLITZ WAS FROM 102 PARK AND KICK 112. KI-3, KU. Curious...: 9th Jul 2009 - 02:59 GMT@Joey Tpa: So as far as the original leaders of NCB they definitely didn't include that informer-vandal squad fat snitch JACK right? The reason I ask this is becuse I never saw anything from him only the truly "mentioned" kings roto and snac. SAR TMB: 11th Jul 2009 - 01:12 GMT
