Freemont & MLK Blvd

I had a few minutes before work to post some shots taken near my house this morning. Recently, tow of my friends moved north of me on MLK BLVD, so I've been biking the strip more and seeing more interesting paint up on the walls. Here are a few shots, these were taken on the corner of Freemont and MLK Blvd.

This guy has little sketches in chalk and paint pen all over NE portland, and I'm glad to see something a little larger. It was actually totally bizzare, a couple of nights ago around 11pm there were two guys fighting with wooden kendo swords in the alleyway where this tag is. Weird.

These three tags are on the same building, and I'm not sure if the owner comissioned them, or likes them or what, but regardless, they are on the main street facing MLK Blvd. Well, the two good ones that is, the Skeletor skull is all over the place now, I guess this one is better, since its not just black paint...

hey justin, we're neighbors! I'm glad you got those cause I don't have digital and I chronically forget to pack the cam. not sure if NoPo tags are worth the film though, mostly. and they buffed my favorite one on Interstate Ave before I could capture it, grr!

neighbors... i love how small a world it is on this site sometimes... ive come into contact with people frm my neighborhood, too, through this site.

GGP: 27th Jul 2005 - 18:53 GMT

Neighbor Peter, the tree/art is on Flatbush, near the Charcuterie at the corner--it's somewhere between the veterinary office and the Charc. If facing the clocktower, you will see it up in the tree. (I HOPE these are accurate memories of the location--good luck!)

The 40th Beaches Lion’s Easter Parade

It was a perfect day for a parade. The sun was shining, the temperature at a cool 14 degrees Celcius. Everyone seem to be at Queen Street East today. It was a party atmosphere. Here are the captured moments: Of course...
