Reflections in gleaming concrete and turgid water: modernity meets its murky twin. Who comes out on top?

i would like to see the refelction on top.crunkulated buildings in time.

GGP: reflection is chewier than reality.

elaine: 24th Jul 2005 - 07:05 GMT

Bleeagh: 24th Jul 2005 - 14:38 GMT

Ah... excellent. Perhaps there's more order in the chaotic romping of dreams than there is in life's sophisms?

elaine: mmm nice innit?

Peter: 25th Jul 2005 - 13:24 GMT

nice!! what is that building, bleeagh? and that water?

Bleeagh: 26th Jul 2005 - 04:33 GMT

Heh - it's weird to see you call me 'Bleeagh' in your post. Feel free to call me Mark, my friend! The building in the foreground is what's left of a large tannery complex. The rest has been torn down to make way for more ultra-modern condos, much like the building in the background. That vibrant ribbon of chemically delicious "water" is the infamous Milwaukee River. My brother and I grew up one block from where this was shot, and the river was literally our backyard.

elaine: hee hee! 'chemically delicilious'

Peter: 26th Jul 2005 - 14:10 GMT

cool, marky mark! that sounds like a crazy place to play, as a kid.
