Crashed car outside Brooklyn's 78th Precinct. Evidence? Unlucky parking job? DUI? We may never know... 78th Precinct, NYPD: This article has been viewed 5863 times in the last 3 years Peter: 7th Jul 2005 - 15:21 GMTyeah. a cop, standing on the corner smoking, shooed me away when i tried to get close enough to see if there was any blood on the inside. i asked him if it was allowed to smoke whilst on duty. he went inside... but kept watching me form the door.

I was able to get some close-up shots when I passed it yesterday on teh way home, and it was sprinkling sufficiently enough to keep the meddling cops indoors... note the blue paramedic gloves laying on the passenger side seat...
Peter: 8th Jul 2005 - 14:29 GMTI was told by a local witness: "I think it's from an accident that occurred on 4th ave near union over the weekend. I walked by shortly after it happened; the red car was basically wedged under a big truck. Did not look good." Peter: 11th Jul 2005 - 14:19 GMTin a bizarre confluence that could only happen in as dense a place as prospect heights, i passed the aforementioned car this morning, going to the train, and look what i found...
