It is wonderful to hear of your experience. No matter whathappens in your life, transcend. Listen to the self, toexistence, to the great being.
When we use the word Love we are actually referring tosomething much more pervasive than the manifestation of Lovethat we appear to be referring to. We inutitivity know thisand we use the best word that we can. Love is amanifestation of Love.
Those who have gotten to a point of true deep humility;those who have gotten to a point of "not pushing outward"but, instead, are able recieve reality unfiltered, undisrupted, are often referred to as enlightened."Not pushing outward" means that when we produce what canappear to be "outgoing action" it is not forced orcontrolled by a need to hide from some part of our self. This is on a continuum in the sense that we are at somepoint on a path to fully realizing this, and this is what weare actually seeking. It is connected to everything we do,it is the reason we do anything; eat, sleep, laugh, cry, procreate, make war, "make Love", etc. This does not meanthat 'ego' is not important; and, in fact, we must, we do,work with what we really are. Position, or how we aresituated, "puts us" in a world where we are isolated fromenvironments that would cause us face areas of ourselvesthat we are not presently facing. Open, honest, intimateexamination of the self is necessary for transcension. Soall aspects of our mind can conjoin, so we can become whatwe "actually are".
This is use of words to describe something immenselycomplex. Words come from the langauges of 'feelings', andthese from the lanaguges of the soul. In learning anythingawareness tends from seeing complexity to seeing simplicityand back again in advancing cycles; even if the resulting"simplicity" appears as having been simplified by way ofseeing increased complexity.
I have had many experiences that I see as the same, orsimilar, to that as you describe, and, often, such that itis has been largely sustained. These experiences arebeautiful. Next, I am going to describe another type, thisone also imparted great lessons:
Once someone that I love very, very, much was injured anddying. I was about two miles away in the same posture facingthe same direction; was having a late lunch, an early dinner, with another friend. She sat across from me at thetable. The time was approximately 3 to 4 o'clock. We were about to take the first bites of the meal. And with anextremely rapid onset, in a matter of a third score ofseconds, as if something reached into my mind and beganimposing thoughts onto it, a stunning spectrum of vivid andhorrible feelings and awarenesses that I seemed to "have awrestling match with" in order to try to control. It seemedto be throughout the body but I had a distinct sense of it being primarily located in the brain area, this is to say a'sensation'indicating location in the body. If I could onlyimpart the overt foriegn nature of this; whatever this wasit was very powerful relative to anything that I haveexperienced. I said to my friend, "Something is very wrong."I tried to describe it but the feelings were interupting andsomething in me tended to understand that it was moreimportant to watch, to observe what I was seeing. By nowapproximately 20 seconds had elapsed from my first'conscious awareness'. I leaned forward, chair turned aboutperpendicular to my orginal position at the table, chest toward thighs, head in hands; now added, an odd sort of'physical' pain that is difficult to describe using words. The "psychic disruption" left more slowly than the onset andwas greatly diminished at about the 30 seconds from theonset. About 2 to 3 hours later we recieved a telephone callinforming us about the injury. My friend passed onward a fewdays later.
One of the lessons for me, intuitively supported by otherexperiences, is that there was, from my awareness of theexperience, clearly, direct transmission of informationbetween our nervous systems. Another lesson for me, alsoinutuitively supported by other experiences, is that people's minds can comingle during the dream state. And bothpoint strongly at the physical prospect that before andafter 'Life' are altered states of consciousness.
