On the corner near the bodega, this morning, a homeless man had camped out for the day. Ironically, he chose to rest in the shade of the red-and-white clothing donation box. Peter: 16th Feb 2006 - 19:48 GMTim not sure that anyone has commented. but as the "this article has been viewed..." date is older than the actual post date, i guess osmething got lost in the crash. EvilGentleman: 19th Feb 2006 - 09:09 GMTWow, takes me 2 1/2 days to notice an almost-instant response. Sorry about that. It's a good subject for a photo, although a bit distant in this one. Of course, I fully realize the homeless usually consider being photographed to be the same as being put in a zoo, and therefore are often aggressive when being photographed. That makes this entirely understandable to be a good distance away when taking the shot. It is a shame that things are this way, as I have always felt that homelessness should be in our faces more often, so that we may better realize the failures of our society, and thus be more willing to fix it.
