I, too, have a Scrubjay friend who visits me on a regular basis, is very bold and very, very smart. I often think that IT has trained ME! My friend likes peanuts in the shell, crackers, apple and banana. It has a mate that is fairly timid in comparison to it's boldness. It is used to the camera and I have many photos of this amazing bird. It spends time visiting with me on a nearly daily basis and will sit and converse in a quiet, complex chirping language.
