pensive technology at forest gate station.
by now you will have gathered, i am of a leaning towards seeing faces in everything, so the robot building was just a very big example of what is my basic relationship to things. i am an anamist, out and proud

mmmm, i am a lover of catenary wires and the pantographs that run along them! the catenary face has such pursed lips... maybe its scared of the oncoming trains?

elaine: 14th Jun 2005 - 14:37 GMT

that or it is feeling sick after too much fast food. it has a slight look of a kitty face to it

Peter: 14th Jun 2005 - 14:41 GMT

a kitty face? maybe thats why they call em CATenary wires ;)

elaine: 14th Jun 2005 - 14:54 GMT

well, you know, i didn't know they even were called that, but it is uncanny, isn't it?

the 2nd one looks kind of like a toothy smile.

Peter: 14th Jun 2005 - 18:47 GMT

nice photos, jeeff. you have so many good ones of japan, dude!

Peter: 15th Jun 2005 - 14:24 GMT

one thing i love about this site is that someone can post photos of a catenary wire in london, and someone can answer back with a similar photo of the same obscure thing in japan. it is indeed a very small world, and citynoise helps reveal so many subtle nodes of consistency hidden in our suroundings.

universal clues, perhaps?

elaine: yeah, you made a good thing peter

Peter: 15th Jun 2005 - 16:42 GMT

now, i just have to get some of the lines here, to add to this series!

GGP: whiskery face-wires!
