Tampa Airport Bathroom
[previous] :: [next]
I recently flew to Florida. Soon after arriving at the Tampa International Airport, I snapped this cameraphone shot of the bank of urinals in the bathroom. It was a fascinating scene... three rows of ten urinals each, none being used, all pristine and clean. It was certainly a stark contrast to New York and its many bathrooms. This article has been viewed 4429 times in the last 4 years Peter: 14th Jun 2005 - 14:03 GMTyep, but they were on the other side... and a few were occupied. i dont hesitate to make photos of things i think are interesting, but i try to avoid overstepping the bounds of social tact (or at least overstepping them too far, heh), photographing as it were in an occupied bathroom... Peter: 15th Jun 2005 - 14:16 GMTTPA is a very busy airport, and the concourse i flew into is a very busy one, doubltessly 24/7/365, as it caters to a majopr airline that has one of its major hubs there in tampa. i bet that very precious few minutes pass in a day when someone (or many people) aren't utilizing that bathroom in one way or another. a weary traveller shaving in the basin, a man brushing his teeth so he'll have fresh breath toi kiss his wife with at the terminal, someone sneaking a last smoke before a flight, someone changing clothes, moving bowels, peeing out the drinks they just had at the captain's club, etc. its very busy. oh, if those walls could talk... though im glad they cant fart ;) Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
