Peter: 1st Jun 2005 - 14:26 GMT...or old sticker, old style it looks like, actually. cool! its fun seeking out a vague continuity by making photos of similar stickers. you can best believe ill start taking photos of every one i see. GGP: 1st Jun 2005 - 14:58 GMTYes, the sticker looked very old, dirty, and worn. Suggesting the possibility that this hand-rendered format preceeded the more "formal" printing style of the other parakeet images. Playing archeologist here and could well be wrong (we need carbon-dating equipment!!), but this, in both content and condition, made me think "precursor". It was a very exciting and unexpected "find," but you folks have me exploring every nook and cranny these days for potential treasure. ;) Peter: 1st Jun 2005 - 15:59 GMTive noticed the "old" pet bird stickers too... and have unfortunately never had my camera handy... theres a strange one on the opposite-side parking sign in front of the half winebar (on vanderbilt- down the street from the met food, next to the pet shop). its too high to get a good shot of with my cameraphone though...
