from the streets of toronto today. forgive the 800 pixel wide format, i won't make a habit of it. i like this photo because it gives a different look on urban youth culture, specifically skateboarding. this kid is part of his urban environment, and has found a comfortable place to read a book. i bet most people don't think of skaters as readers, especially in a thoughtful coexistence such as this.

800 pixels can certainly be forgiven in this context ... a stunning shot from a great angle and perspective. a bird on the ground's eye view. or lying flat, face down, on the pavement. picking your head up slightly. either way, any way, all ways. this is very cool .......... and inspiring. thank you!
