Northampton Bike Path
[previous] :: [next]Some photos from my ride home from work the other day. The journey begins. The new bridge that spans Route 9. Auto junkyard.
The Northampton Town Hall. Yarn bombing by Riot Prrl, a knitters league for positive mischief. Union Station, the Northampton train depot from back in the day. Now it's a restaurant. The view down Main Street in Northampton. Not too much traffic at 6:30 am. Abandoned factory. The path into Florence. Lou: 16th Aug 2011 - 21:34 GMTThere are several trails: The Northampton Bike Path which is 1.75 miles, the Manhan at 4.2 miles, and the Norwottuck at 9 miles. There are all linked together, so from one end to the other, it is a decent trip. Lou: 16th Aug 2011 - 21:38 GMTThe route I take starts on the Manhan extension and finishes near the end of the Northampton trail. Lou: 16th Aug 2011 - 21:42 GMTHere is a good map of the trails:
joey: 18th Aug 2011 - 00:42 GMTi can see the humidity hanging in the air. also, looks like the headless horseman could be seen on the path into Florence some full moon nights. Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
