5, disappearing to the vanishing point.

image 1442
Another of ... the overhead skylights allowed enough sun to shine in and make the colors so vivid.

image 1443
One of two main entrances to the station. The overhanging roof simply proclaims "", as a testament to hte Pennsylvania Railroad, the corporation of yore responsible for constructing both this station in and its bigger brother, at street in , one stop south of , the major station where all the commuter rail exits , bound.

The overhead walkway that leads from the arriving tracks of the station and crosses the street, leading into the and corporate/convention centers, as well as some major corporate offices/headquarters located immediately next to the station. Each day, scores of commuters exit the train and jog over this bridge to work in their cubicles at MBNA, Prudential, IDT, etc...

i am not always 100% with your vanishing point obsession, peter, but this time it's positively vorticist. i also like the vertical swimming pool you got there. are these camphone?

Peter: 5th May 2005 - 17:19 GMT

im not obsessed, just happened to post two entries this week :)

yeah theyre shots... thus the lowres. i gotta get in the habit of carrying the real digicam around, one of these days...

elaine: 5th May 2005 - 17:37 GMT

well ya got ya mojo on with these boys

i left my camera at home today and saw loads.. but am back to stratford tmrw to the dentiss, and will retrace my steps if i can

Peter: awesome. as always, we'd love to see it.

elaine: 5th May 2005 - 17:59 GMT

how on earth do you know? you night hate it! i want to snap the clock at bethnal green tube, the sign for a cafe which seems to be called 'cafe open' and a sign that says 'nicks barbers' which is either a deliberate double entendre or just daft signage... none of which adds up to a posting, but you never know what i will see tomorrow, apart from my dentist baring down on me with the prongy grabby drilly things

Peter: 5th May 2005 - 18:04 GMT

thats the whole point of this site- the banalities of an everyday existence that, though familiar and perhaps uninteresting to you, might be fascinating to people who have never been to your or , never seen all the oddities around you that you take for granted, etc. i really like and would love to visit it someday, but until then, i have to just look at photos. i like it when individuals post random stuff here because its stuff id likely not ever be able to see otherwise :)

nicks barbers sounds funny. it reminds me of this barbershop in 's :

hee hee hee but you still don't know if it would be 'awesome' it might be as banal as fuck... anyway you know i am just yanking your chain for being an enthusiastic american puppy, which is a good USP

kobe: 5th May 2005 - 18:55 GMT

those top two make it look like the traintrack goes on forever and ever and ever

herbsta: that's right, even in Brussels we spotted it

Lower World No. 1

This was shot in an expressway in Seattle, Washington, at night with a little [mostly] point and shoot digital camera [Nikon 3100]. The area can be accessed downtown by hopping over one of those wooden 'arms' that usually gate a parking...
