from ottawa, the place i left. this is the back of a building that lives in a white collar business district. it is probably my most favorite facade from that city.

a fine photograph. love the detail, composition, texture. was this taken w/film? or digital? i'm curious about what sort of camera and/or film you used.

hool: 14th May 2002 - 22:28 GMT

moebius: tis digital. olympus e-10, it's a digital slr.

hasslehoff: 29th Apr 2005 - 10:45 GMT

made me post
made me swear
made me burn my pubic hair

elaine: 29th Apr 2005 - 10:55 GMT

ha ha. yuk
this, though, is the view out of my kitchen window downwards, due to a recent spate of teen thuggery. i wouldn't give a toss, but i get a shcking toxic pall in my flat

Peter: wow, is that a burned up motorscooter?

elaine: 29th Apr 2005 - 14:45 GMT

serpently is, the locals have discovered fire, it could be dangerous...they may vote next

elaine: 29th Apr 2005 - 14:53 GMT

and here we see a burnt out van as well as yet another bike being taken away by the council. i phoned the police when i saw the van waiting outside my building stripped of plates because i could only guess how disgusting the smoke was going to be, but they said - petulently, i thought - that it was not a police matter. i went out, but was home in time to be totally choked out by the blaze, scooter inside the van, no less

these photos are deserving of their own entry, elaine!

hasslehoff: 29th Apr 2005 - 14:56 GMT

you gotta love the met. in what was isn't this a police matter? The very fact that the van has no plates makes it a police matter, nevermind the fact that it was on fire. hahahaa

i am too bad tempered about the whole thing to dignify it with it's own entry. Bastarding police, they really pissed me off, it was like some sketch on a comedy as if you phoned the police and they were being run by teenage girls "it aint our problem... no.. but it aint our problem... no but i aint listenin...i aint bothered" was the gist of what i got for my reluctant citizenry. Bah.

Peter: 29th Apr 2005 - 15:05 GMT

i feel very similar in regards to the cops. i say make the entry and tell your story so others can find it without digging through the comments. theres nothing wrong with dissing on the cops and speaking your mind ;)

elaine: 29th Apr 2005 - 15:08 GMT

well, the pictures aren't all that, and i havn't got a story i really wanna tell with it, i just let out the rant by way of conversation... let me post something nicer i shot today, wait

Peter: 29th Apr 2005 - 15:19 GMT

i think i just have something for burned up cars, hehehe.
