I've always noticed art from the subway between Dundas West and Keele.

Brought my camera and coffee for a little impromptu tour of the alley ways this Sunday and discovered there is a whole lot more there than previously met my eye. image 40117

So, a little peek for all of you:

Those are some really great shots! I remember seeing glimpses of some of these when on the train myself but never really got to appreciate it. Good shooting.

This artwork shows such talent! Imagination...social commentary! I love it! I was so taken in by the designs that I failed to even notice the medium on which it was painted - until I forced myself to go back for a second look. What a treat on a dreary winter's day.

This is some really fantastic artwork. Thank you Michelle for taking all of us on such a diverse and beautiful art journey/show. It must've taken the artist's long periods of time to complete some of these pieces, I've never seen anything quite like it.

i love the owl and fish... and that truck is cool, too :)

Renee: 27th Apr 2010 - 03:48 GMT

Wow thats pretty cool to see them all in a collection like this.

Raluca: 17th Jan 2011 - 23:40 GMT

That's not a goldy, it's a Betta Splendens (Siamese Fighting Fish).
Nice captures!

More Montreal Noise: Saint-Laurent. This time, it is more behind Foufounes Electriques, where I found a large set of walls that have been painted, again most likely from Under Pressure. Competitive graf is so cool... Garfield seems to be enjoying himself... Colourful... I...
