Food in the Hood

Norris & Mascher in Kensington. The ubiquitous Chinese take-out corner store which doesn't sell much in the way of Chinese food...mostly blunts, candy bars, cigarettes, and calling cards. A bread delivery truck was spotted parked outside (there's a bodega on the opposite corner). In the "food deserts" of the inner-city, lack of access to fresh produce leads to high rates of obesity. There's a phrase used in Philly called "black-bagging it". Children stop in the corner store on their way to school and get chips, soda, and Tastykakes (Little Debbies), and that's their lunch for the day. These bodegas all give out little black plastic bags with each purchase. The kids can be seem walking all over with their little black baggies full of junk food.

Our people talk about they are umemployed, and their is no money with in our community people who do not nave the sense or the intelligences to look out for tyhe interest of their own selves, and their own community deserve exactly what they are getting, We use to have our own bussiness , stores resteraunts Doctors, and institutions we are the one who abandoned our own bussinesses to go , to run and support people who hate us, and who do not give our community any thing, This is common sense, we have the blue print from many of our teachers and real leaders before us who gave up their lives to bring us knowledge, But the Greatest nowedge and Power is the Knowledge of Our God, Lord Yah -weh, and his Son Jesus Christ, Black people are suffering because they have turned their backs on their God, and the Word of God days ye can do nothing with me, And My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, The Word of god is faithful and True.

21 Rules of This House

Formerly "Ariyana Clothes", now this women's clothing store has no name. You can sort of see in the background the type of clothes this store specializes in, short skirts, tank tops, jeweled thongs, etc., which made this prominently displayed set...
