Love these kooky images! You can tell the photographer had a great time with it.

But what was the capital at this point?

Sao Paolo?

Robert: 24th Jan 2010 - 00:29 GMT

CartLegger, The capital in the 30's was Rio de Janeiro. In the late fifties, Brasilia was planned and constructed and became Brazil's capital since 1960. It was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, today one of the most famous world's architects, combined straight and rounded shapes to create innovative architectural masterpieces. Lucio Costa, reknowned Brazilian urbanist, devised a lay-out combining beautiness, simplicity and functionality.
