get the street level too! that tells a lot more about a place

this is beautiful, and makes LA look uncharactaristically cool, like swimming pool meets japanese flower arranging

Reminds me alot of Bret Eston Elis novels.

"like swimming pool meets japanese flower arranging" - masterful comment - excellent photo - thank you all.

oh, ta! but that is just how it struck me. even in winter when i was there LA was kind of dusty and sandy coloured and had a hot, busy, vibe, a lot like london in the summer. that's just how i remembered it, so this picture really struck me

Wow... i'd like to have an penthouse apartment on top of this building.. ;) My country is expensive to buy apartment like that.. wondering how much it will cost me in LA.. ha ha..

geo. thermal: 7th Sep 2005 - 05:35 GMT

the street level is probably filled with cars

I love L.A. If they had plush downtown apartments in buildings like this, I'd choose it over Manhattan any day.

Graffiti of Rue St-Christophe

Rue St-Christophe is a very strange street. It's only a few blocks long and is so narrow it's easy to miss. It should be considered an alley but has "rue" classification from the city rather than "ruelle". ...
