Friends, family and I recently celebrated Thanksgiving at Glynwood Farm outside
Cold Spring, NY. Glynwood is a working farm, dedicated to the principles of sustainable agriculture.

Walking across the property, we came across a large patch of kale, ready to be harvested.
Most of Glynwood's produce is sold and distributed via its CSA.

The farm has all kinds of livestock, including pigs, cows, chickens, goats, sheep, and horses.

Glynwood's natural beauty encompasses several lakes. The farm itself sits within the boundaries
of the 14,000 acre Fahnestock State Park.

Nothing beats a warm cottage in the cold of night, especially one filled with good food and cheer.

It's like a story-book of life on the farm. So refreshing to see this sort of thing here for once! The animals look so very well cared for, and the veg looks delicious. Cheers!

Great post. I'm sitting in a very cold apartment enjoying that last, warm-cottage shot!

Nearly every city and town has travel agencies. They are a ubiquitous part of commercial infrastructure and have been since we invented travel. Leaflets and posters by the million zillion billion. Plastic model airliners in the windows. Outposts of glamour...
