serlingrod: yup... too bad i found out about the transit strike when i arrived at 30th street station and went to purchase an all-day transit pass. did it all on foot, west philly and much of center city. saw a few things that i wouldnt have noticed had you not have posted/mentioned them here ;) this was my first visit to philly in over ten years! more to come in the following days...
